Illustration Project for Retail Store

Native Plants are illustrated in pen and ink and colored digitally. Whether it is an urban hike or more remote destination, I enjoy the outdoors year round, through all the elements. Native plants mark the changing seasons, and even in winter, when the summer colors fade to monochromes, there is much to observe. While drawn from observation, I designed these plant illustration in mandala form to create a unifying template in which to show the variety of shape and color.
